Q1 2012 saw weaker activity in most of the nine primary Western European office markets compared to the same period last year. Net absorption decreased due to the low level of completions in Q1 2012. Consequently the average vacancy rate across the markets stabilised after several consecutive quarterly declines. On a rolling year basis office investment in the nine markets gained momentum over the previous quarter.
