Summary, etc. The DTZ Fair Value Index score for the UK rose to 65 from 53 in Q4 2011 indicating that the market continues to become better value. Prime property is providing investors with an attractive proposition in difficult economic conditions and pricing is at its most attractive since mid-2009. The improved score is driven by a persistent reduction in bond yields and a yield increase in several UK property markets. Regional yields have shifted out but London yields have held firm. However the forecasts for London yields are now expected to remain low for longer.
