Given the tight supply of prime retail space average prime high street retail rents continued upwards in Q1 but at a slower rate than in 2011. Landlords are actively reshuffling their tenant-mix to cater for more luxury brands. Prime retail rents are expected to continue upwards, albeit at a slower pace of growth than in 2011. |
