Some comparison goods and fashion retailers see the shorter trading patterns of the City of London retail market as a challenge. The rejuvenation of Cheapside and the opening of One New Change has significantly improved City retail space. The City fringe retail markets offer retailers a mix of residential and commercial neighbourhoods not available in the City core.
