At dispute was the value of various priviledges and benefits that the landlord would lose if he sold the freehold and whether these should be included in the sale price. Held the enfranchisement price should be £401,200 which included hope and marriage values and compensation for the loss of insurance premiums and ability to enforce covenants on other properties.
