The report of a working party chaired by Sir Bryan Carsberg which was commissioned by RICS to investigate issues relating to valuations for the commercial property investment market in the UK. The report makes 18 recommendations to RICS on how the valuation process should be tightened up. This will minimise the risks of valuers objectivity being compromised and ensure that public confidence in the system is maintained.
