Summary: A fuel cell uses hydrogen as a fuel to generate DC electricity , water and heat. It is an efficient and environmentally friendly means of converting fuel into high quality power. The aim of this document is to provide a straightforward guide to the use and application of fuel cells in a commercial property setting. The guide demonstrates the current advancement and application of fuel cells as it stands in late 2002, and attempts to predict potential future developments for the next 5-10 years.
