Amend the Leasehold Reform (Enfranchisement and Extension) Regulations1967 which prescribed conditions governing the procedure to be followed in giving effect to a tenancy notice under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 Part I. Amendments consequential to amendments made to the 1967 Act Part I by the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 ss138-140 abolish the residence test except where i) tenancy is a business tenancy and ii) where a float forming part of the house is let to a tenant who qualifies to exercise the right to collectively enfranchise under the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993.
