Provides information about building control systems in Europe, which will be of increasing value to architects, developers and contractors working in the common market for services and construction products. Responses were gathered from 16 countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland Slovenia, Sweden and the United Kingdom (England and Wales). The study shows that building control in these countries is less different than expected. Annex A tables controls in respect of zoning and planning, building projects, the construction phase, completion and private building control schemes. Annex B contains the building control system templates for each respondent country.
