Discusses the results of an ODPM study on ventilation and indoor air quality (IAQ) in eight primary school classrooms built post-1995. The study revealed that many of the classrooms did not achieve the minimum background ventilation rate unless windows were opened. IAQ parameters were generally within guidelines.
