Summary: Supply air windows provide pre-heated ventilation air by partially reclaiming heat normally lost to the outside and by collecting solar gains. This paper describes the development of supply air windows and summarises recent research work by BRE and the Martin Centre. It also presents the results of a modelling study carried out for the design of a PSV system with supply air windows incorporated in demonstration houses.
