Summary: Examines the non-technical barriers to using small volume wastes as raw materials in construction. For the purpose of the project, small volume waste is defined as a material with a UK-wide, total annual production of less than 500 000 tonnes. Special emphasis was placed on materials with potential applications in cementitious products, aggregates, fill and hardcore.
