Provides a summary of hereditament, floorspace and rateable value statistics for non-domestic property in England and Wales as at 1 April 2005. A significant change to previous years is the introduction of a new bulk class called other bulk premises. The overall effect of this new bulk class has been to lower the total number of hereditaments and the total floorspace within the four original bulk classes. Rateable values and rateable values per m2 have increased due to an increase in value of the commercial rental market between the Antecedent Valuation Dates for the 2000 and 2005 revaluations.
