Aims to assist valuers to establish rental value. Evidence of new lettings will generally carry more weight than rents agreed or determined on review. However, new lettings frequently include rent-free periods or other forms of incentive. Explores some of the factors that the valuer may need to consider in assessing the impact of such incentives on the rent agreed and its analysis.
