This statutory instrument brings into force from 1 May 2006 guidance on matters to be taken into account when considering whether a person is a disabled person for the purposes of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 as amended by the Disability Discrimination Act 2005. It replaces earlier guidance issued on 25 July 1996.
