Aims to assist in the delivery of the key planning objectives for waste management set out in Planning Policy Statement 10 (PPS10) "Planning for sustainable waste management" within the wider context of reforms of the use planning system. It seeks to help regional planning bodies in the preparation of regional spatial strategies, planning authorities in the production of local development documents and the consideration of planning applications and to assist potential developers understand the requirements of the spatial planning system for waste management.
