Code of practice designed to promote best practice in the management of those leasehold residential properties which are specifically designed and designated for retired older people, and which are managed by private companies or registered social landlords. The code will also generally apply to the management of freehold bungalows and houses, but does not apply to rented sheltered housing. The code applies in England only, and came into force on 2 January 2006.
