There is increasing evidence of rental growth, with the CB Richard Ellis Prime Central London Price Index rising by 2.3% in the second quarter. Availability is down, and development activity has increased to more than double the amount being built at the start of last year. Investment turnover is at £7.4bn for the first half of the year.
