Looks at how to improve the design of places so that they can be used by everyone - regardless of age, gender or disability. Supports the Executive's aim of promoting more equality in areas where we live and work. Inclusive design seeks to provide an environment which addresses varying needs, to help break down barriers and remove exclusion. Relevant to those involved in the development process and who have the opportunity to create and maintain inclusive environments including building owners, developers, design professionals, local authority officers, access panels and building occupiers.
