Part 1 presents the Agency's overall position on the management and protection of groundwater and identifies the Agency's goals; Part 2 provides a basic introduction to groundwater and its place in the water cycle, key principles and concepts and a description of the threats from human activity, and Part 3 introduces the tools available for analysing and assessing the risks to groundwater.
