Shows that more than 70% of the National Trust's coastline in Wales, much of it internationally renowned, could be severely affected by coastal erosion and flooding in the next 100 years. Calls for policy-makers to take urgent action to put in place coherent, long-term planning to address the massive impacts of future sea level rise and to enable affected communities, businesses and natural environments to adapt. The report draws on the Trust's experience as the UK's largest owner of coastline and highlights issues to be addressed by the Welsh Assembly Government's plans for adapting to climate change, and forthcoming legislation for the marine environment.
