Total returns hit their highest level in five months, falling just short of 13%. Regions with the highest total returns are East Anglia (29%), Wales (25.6%) and the North (23.9%). Rental incomes achieved an 8.2% increase over the last quarter and a 1.6% rise over the last month. The highest rental incomes are achieved in London (£17 258), the South West (£12 016) and the South East (£11 365). Property values rose to £171 803 in March, from £169 167 in February: a monthly increase of 1.6%, and a quarterly rise of 5.5%. Regions achieving the highest property values in March were Greater London (£302 327), South East (£196 210) and South West (£188 931). Yields remained steady in March, staying at 6.1% for the second month running. The top performing regions in terms of yields were Wales (7.1%), Yorkshire (6.6%), North West (6.5%) and West Midlands (6.5%).
