All UK house prices grew in the second quarter of 2007, but the rate of growth is slowing. Some prices in Northern Ireland are now on a par with London, but growth has slowed following the record of the first quarter. The average house price for first-time buyers in London approached £250 000. Prices grew faster in the south of England than in the North. The average house price was £181 810.
