This report addresses the impact of global economic turbulence that is pushing up inflation and tightening credit availability in ten major Asian markets. Argues that inflation is one of the largest threats to economic growth in the region, although Asia has been relatively well protected from the credit crisis. Examines real estate returns for ten cities across Asia for US dollar, Japanese yen and Euro investors against returns on a one-year and three-year basis. Concludes that the opportunities are still greater than the risks.
