Reports that the investment market has slowed down in the first quarter of 2008 in most of the eighteen cities monitored. Total investment volume stood at €12.9bn, representing a 38% fall on the previous quarter, to the lowest point since Q3 2005. Finds foreign investments in Central London rose from €1.2bn to €1.7bn, especially from German investors. The UK, Germany and France still account for the largest share of European investment, albeit at a record low market share of 74% in Q1 2008. Generally, office prime yields have risen.
