RICS Valuation Standards (The Red Book) is issued by RICS Valuation Faculty and contains mandatory rules and best practice guidance for all RICS members undertaking valuations services worldwide. The standards contained in this sixth edition are compliant with current International Valuation Standards, published by the International Valuation Standards Committee (IVSC).
This update of the sixth edition of the Red Book introduces new material and amendments to some UK practice statements. The standards in the sixth edition came into effect on 1 January 2008 and superseded the "RICS appraisal and valuation standards" (ISBN 1842191233). This reprint of the sixth edition supersedes the previous version (L141251).
