Summary: Handovers are required for two main reasons: the sale of a property and a change of manager. The sale of a property may not always involve a change in manager, whilst some properties are managed directly by owners. This paper is intended to cover all situations, and is aimed at property owners and managers and their legal advisers. Its intention is to set out a series of procedures during the handover period to improve the quality of service to the industry?s customers.
