Considers sinking funds, reserve funds and depreciation charges in the context of commercial property. This paper is in three sections. The first section addresses matters that owners, occupiers, managers and drafting solicitors might like to consider. The second section provides further information in support of the RICS Code of Practice, Service Charges in Commercial Property (?the Code?). The third section (see Appendix A) sets out suggested service charge lease provisions that have been specifically designed to comply with the principles and provisions of the Code. Supersedes 1st edition.
