There are a number of key changes as to how tenancy deposits are dealt with by adding a new s 215 to the Housing Act 2004 (Principle Act) and amending the Housing (Tenancy Deposits)(Prescribed Information) Order 2007 with regards to the provision of information by agents regarding the deposit paid by tenants and procedures for dealing with non-compliance.
