It found that CABE has developed a significant reputation and has taken reasonable steps to ensure it complies with Nolan principles. The DCMS and CABE have accepted the recommendations which include a review of the make-up of the CABE Board by DCMS to ensure a balance of experts, the Audit Committee to formally consider CABE's register interests twice a year and induction and training for Commissioners to be strengthened to ensure the Nolan principles are understood.
