These people are car-dependent and will find that by 2021 it could take them longer to get to work. A journey that currently takes 25 minutes could, by that date, take them 35 minutes. A massive 60% of England's traffic growth is forecast for these suburbs. The ITC wants to see land use and transport polices being tailored to these areas - urgently.
