The lease contained a rent review which would be operated on 25 December 1988 and was anticipated to raise the rent to between £120,000 and £250,000. B went into liquidation in 1981 with an already appalling rent record, between 1978 and 1986 there were 10 separate sets of proceedings 3 against the guarantor (P) after 1981. L issued a summons to apply for forfeiture and possession however B issued a summons in the winding up proceedings for relief from forfeiture. It was held in favour of B on condition that P met all arrears of rent and the liquidator contracted to sell the companies interest in the lease to P.
