CA 12 March 1990. Appeal by rating authority from High Court decision quashing the decision of lvc that a proposal dated 28 March 1985 relating to sewage works was invalid. The address as given on the proposal was "Rushden Sewage Treatment Works, Northampton Road, Rushden". The rating area was shown as "East Northants DC" and the rating district as "Rushden". The Rushden Works had closed and been removed from the valuation list in 1982. Nearby in the same rating area but in a different rating district, were the Broadholme Sewage Treatment Works which were in use and entered in the list. At the bottom of the form when the proposal was sent to the rating authority by the VO, he had filled in the space marked "For use in the Valuation Office Only" with the description "Sewage Disposal Works" and the address "Broadholme Sewage Treatment Works, Ditchford Lane (Anglian Water Authority) Irthlingborough". Lvc decided that the proposal was invalid, but the High Court quashed that decision. On
