Damages have been awarded by the Court of Appeal, overturning an LT decision (Abs56572) , to a couple who claimed that the widening of a road outside their house created a `rat run` for speeding drivers. They claimed for damage done by vibrations, dust from the roadworks and for noise interfering with `peaceful enjoyment` of their home.
