"ABB Zantingh Ltd v Zedal Building Services Ltd" T&CC 12 December 2000. The claimant (A) entered into a contract with the defendant (B) for installation of electricity generators at printing sites. The contract did not include express agreement for adjudication. When disputes occurred, B applied for an adjudicator under the Housing Grants Construction and Regeneration Act 1996. A challenged this, claiming its contracts with B were not construction contracts under the exception contained in the Housing Grants Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 s105(2). Held, claim dismissed.
