Reducing resolutions

By: Series: HouseBuilder ; 4(December 2001) 15-16(2)Publication details: 2001Subject(s): Summary: The current 60% increase in the NHBC's housbuilders resolution faculty is causing them to seek new ways of approaching this problem. In response to this perceived over use they are introducing an initiative called Reducing Resolutions which involves providing housebuilders with quarterly information containing summaries of all resolutions undertaken in the previous six months. In addition to this ongoing information, by November 2002 NHBC may begin to charge housebuilders who continue to exceed the agreed 'allowable' resolution threshold set at an overall 1% of all new houses built annually.
