The joint initiative run by the Planning Inspectorate and Positive Training Highway (PATH) will start to recruit for traineeships in the spring with the first candidate placements in the autumn. As well as a postgraduate planning degree, trainees will get work experience in a local authority planning department or at the Planning Inspectorate. The scheme will run for at least five years.
