Small manufacturer orders fall for tenth successive quarter

Orders fell for the 10th quarter in a row with the smallest firms hit worst. Decline in output was the slowest for a year. SMEs were less optimistic about the business situation than three months ago. Job cutting has continued among SMEs at a slightly faster rate.
