It recommends clear, firm and fair enforcement of regulatory and legislative requirements, greater business awareness of waste minimisation and hazardous waste management issues, better information on the capacity requirements for treatment and disposal of hazardous waste and building on Waste Strategy 2000 to develop policy instruments and better data.
