Gives details of the changes to the Building Regulations which are now beginning to take effect. Includes the changes to Approved Document A in the requirement dealing with disproportionate collapse of buildings. Also mentions a new Approved Document J which has been introduced giving supplementary information on the UK implementation of European standards for chimneys and flues; and Approved Document L which deals with energy conservation and details the split between different buildings.
