Summary: Discusses recent reforms of compulsory purchase law, in particular the requirements to serve notice to those affected by compulsory purchase proceedings. Suggests that the advice on advising those affected is vague in nature and that individuals who may be affected can be missed out. Closes by saying that a widening of the class of persons to be served would be welcomed, but that the government is currently opting for piecemeal reform and this seems unlikely in the short term.
