In 1994 Richard Ellis commissioned the Harris Research Centre to undertake a survey to find out from the occupiers of offices in Britain the degree of knowledge about the offices they occupy. It also sought to measure the concerns of those who manage these buildings and how well these buildings are perceived to perform as places of work.
