Points out that if parties fail to make adequate provision within these clauses, the schemes for construction contracts will apply. Recommends "Guidance for adjudicators" produced by the Construction Umbrella Bodies Adjudication Task Group CIC, which attempts to give an advisory view of certain aspects of the procedure and can be viewed at www.cic.org.uk.
