EU reveals package for enlargement and agriculture

This decision means that Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, the Slovak Republic and Slovenia can join the EU on 1 May 2004: farmers in these countries will have immediate and full access to the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
