| 520 | _aLT (LVC/879/1984) 29 November 1985. Appeal by ratepayer from decision of lvc confirming assessment of supermarket in Chester le Street , Durham , at £10,600 gv and £8,805 rv. The ratepayers contended the assessment was excessive and incorrect. LT held that the primary approach should be to zone the subject premises, but the choice of the appropriate figure was difficult because of their unusual situation. The ratepayer was therefore right to consider other similar premises outside the town. The gv was given as £9,540; the rv as £7,922 and appeal allowed to that extent. | ||
