Revoke the Money Laundering Regulations 1993 and 2001. Part II outlines obligations for businesses and individuals to put systems into place for identifying possible money laundering offences which include training staff in identification procedures, record keeping and setting up internal reporting procedures. Part III outlines registration procedures for money service operators and high value dealers, sets out the powers of the Custom and Excise Commissioners in relation to money service operators and high value dealers and lists penalties, review and appeal procedures. Part IV deals with miscellaneous provisions. HM Treasury has published a Transposition Note (J124894)setting out how the main elements of Directive 2001/97/EC will be transposed into UK law.
