Responses were gathered from 16 countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland Slovenia, Sweden and the United Kingdom (England and Wales). The study shows that building control in these countries is less different than expected. Annex A tables controls in respect of zoning and planning, building projects, the construction phase, completion and private building control schemes. Annex B contains the building control system templates for each respondent country.
