| 520 | _aThis consultation paper seeks the view of stakeholders on a proposed new regime for monitoring and enforcing mineral and landfill waste permissions in England. The possible scope and content of a new fees regime had already secured a good deal of agreement in full public consultation in Autumn 2001. This paper is a re-consultation, making proposals on the basis of two research studies and the views expressed in the 2001 consultation. Responses must be made by 1 September 2005 and a summary of responses will be published on the ODPM website within three months of the end of the consultation period. The ODPM aims to make regulations in 2005/06 prescribing fees to support the new fees regime, which would come into force on 6 April 2006. | ||
