520 _aOFT guidance sets out to help make caravan contract terms clearer and fairer. It explains why the OFT considers some standard contract terms used in holiday caravan agreements to be potentially unfair under the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999. The guidance deals only with the potential unfairness of terms used in agreements for holiday caravans also known as caravan holiday homes or lodges. These are static caravans that are stationed on a plot on a caravan site licensed for this purpose. OFT has also published a consumer leaflet "A fair pitch for your holiday caravan - a guide to agreements for static holiday caravans".
