It invites comments on the three draft statutory instruments and the draft circular that are needed to give effect in England to the provisions in Part VII of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004. By applying the Planning Acts to the Crown, the provisions of Part VII of the Act provide the basis for removing the Crown's immunity. but detailed secondary legislation and associated guidance is needed to make them work effectively. It identifies where different provisions will be needed in Wales. Responses to the consultation are required by the 16 December 2005.
